Carhartt WIP has been a tastemaking distant relative of Carhartt (note that Carhartt isn’t its parent company) since WIP’s 1994 founding by Edwin Faeh. The company’s first store opened in London in 1997, where workwear jackets and trusty canvas and denim pants (this time with a suitably edgy finish for fall) are still very much in vogue among taste-making skaters, models, DJ’s and more.

When it comes to Carhartt WIP’s accessible high-fashion take on the instantly recognizable ‘C’ logo, the brand says it’s important to note the company “engages with different cultural spheres: from Detroit and Berlin’s symbiotic techno scenes, to skateboarding and its communities that span Paris, New York, and Seoul, to the contemporary art world,” the brand said.

Carhartt WIP has also lent its keen eye to retooled silhouettes ranging from a new spin on the Converse Chuck Taylor to the iconoclast look of the Clarks Wallabee in recent years, cementing the brand’s status as a fashionable icon.

If you’re heading anywhere with a scene this fall, consider wearing a piece (or two, or three) from the forthcoming Carhartt WIP fall drop. The Carhartt WIP Spring/Summer 2025 Collection featured a similar sense of respect for the past, and a range of trusty Carhartt WIP favorites remain intact for fall/winter 2025, including retooled versions of the Carhartt WIP Detroit Jacket, which features 12oz. organic cotton construction for a sturdy finish.

Noted fashion photographer Léa Ceheivi shot the lookbook, highlighting Carhartt WIP looks in eye-catching camo, plus rich earthen tones and vivid shades of red and mustard for the colder months. Houndstooth wool and classic railroad striping add a shot of pattern to scarves and shirting within the offering, while a houndstooth wool chore coat is perhaps the most impressive piece on offer. There’s no word yet as to when the new Carhartt WIP Fall/Winter 2025 collection will be available online, but expect lighter-weight pieces (especially workwear tees) to roll out via the Carhartt WIP online store in the coming month.

Carhartt gear can certainly be trusted through winter’s worst, but this fresh new Carhartt WIP collection shows that timeless workwear staples are in vogue every season. Spring style can’t get here soon enough.

Carhartt WIP and A.P.C. have once again joined forces for a collaborative capsule collection–this time featuring items with Carhartt’s signature “C” swapped into the A.P.C. logo. 

While Carhartt purists may consider that sacrilege, at least it’s a new take on the familiar “C” seen on wool beanies, chore coats, hoodies and pocket t-shirts worn by fans of the popular workwear brand, which has become an urban streetwear staple in recent years.

The new Carhartt WIP x A.P.C. line includes several 100% organic cotton tees, sweatshirts, and hoodies for both men and women in khaki green, blue and grey. Prices range from $95 for a cashmere beanie to $425 for a shirt jacket. 

The new release by A.P.C. and Carhartt WIP–aka Carhartt’s streetwear division–is the latest in a style partnership that spanned four collections between 2011 and 2013. It’s currently available online at Forty Five Ten.

We’ve previously reported on cool collabs between Carhartt Work in Progress (WIP) and heritage footwear brands like Converse and Clarks Original. But this killer custom espresso machine from the outdoor brand-turned-streetwear purveyors is admittedly a luxe appliance we didn’t see coming. 

Carhartt WIP, aka the outdoor giant’s lifestyle division, teamed up with Rocket Espresso Milano to create a compact coffee brewer designed to reside where space is at a premium. 

Each of the 100 individually-numbered examples boasts the same olive green hue from Carhartt WIP’s military-inspired garments and a stainless steel body that’s powder-coated for a coarse, matte finish.

Barista-approved features include a 1.8-liter boiler, 2.5-liter reservoir, hot water nozzle, permanent steam supply, single and double shot portafilter—the component in which hot water is run through the espresso grounds—and a co-branded tamper. 

Sadly, all 100 limited-edition models have already been sold for $1,945 a piece, so you’ll have to peruse an aftermarket retailer to score one of these rare beauties.

Carhartt Work in Progress (WIP)—the outdoor outfitter’s chic streetwear division—is lending two rugged looks from its Fall/Winter 2019 collection to the Converse Chuck Taylor 70 Ox Classic.

One version of the stylish silhouette, which is the Nike-owned brand’s modern iteration of the iconic Chuck Taylor All Star, is dressed in a seasonal orange and black camouflage pattern. Keeping with the hunter-inspired theme, the polyester upper is constructed with a durable, water-resistant ribstop weave.

The second offering boasts a tonal black, 8-wale corduroy design and a robust cotton twill weave for a workwear-like style. Both sneakers feature vulcanized rubber outsoles, Carhartt WIP logos on the toe caps, co-branded cushioned footbeds and a set of replacement laces. 

These new colorways follow the “Camo Olive” and “Brown Duck” Carhartt WIP x Converse Chuck 70 Ox Icons released back in June. The two brands previously joined forces to bolster the basketball-bred kick with waterproof Gore-Tex membranes. 

All four variants of the Carhartt’s Converse Chuck 70s are available for $110 online.

To kick of the 2019 SEMA automotive trade show in Las Vegas,  Chevrolet unveiled the 2021 Silverado HD Carhartt Special Edition that’s loaded with rugged flourishes from the Detroit-based outerwear brand. 

Based on the latest Silverado 2500 LTZ crew cab, which runs a 360-horsepower 6.0-liter V8 as its standard engine and or a 44-hp 6.6-liter turbo-diesel V8 as an upgrade, the tricked-out truck is presented in a “Mosaic Black Metallic exterior and complementary pinstripe accents in Carhartt gold. 

Black vent hood detailing, chrome grille inserts tow hooks and Chevy’s iconic bowtie emblem in the rear add more dramatic touches. Naturally, what Chevy is billing as the “ultimate hard-working” pickup runs on 20-inch wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires.

But this exclusive Silverado is really made for Carhartt die-hards. The apparel company’s logos and badging appear inside and out on the exterior’s doors, tailgate and soft tonneau cover and the cabin’s all-weather floor liners, brown leather seats and headrests. 

It’s not the first time Chevy and Carhartt have teamed up on a vehicle collab. A similarly-themed 2017 Silverado 2500 HD Carhartt was shown at SEMA in 2016. That was just a concept, but the Silverado HD Carhartt Special Edition is going into production before it hits dealers in the fall of 2020. Details on its price have yet to be released. 

The iconic Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star 70 is getting a rugged weatherproof treatment with help from Carhartt Work in Progress.

The biggest upgrade to the classic Converse kicks is the use of Gore-Tex instead of canvas in the upper and inner membrane. 

The Nike-owned company has upgraded All-Stars before with the same rugged waterproof material via Converse’s “Urban Utility” and “Mountain Club” collections.

But Carhartt WIP, a lifestyle-oriented division of the outdoor apparel brand, ensures sneakerheads won’t forget which Chucks to lace up in bad weather by stamping the Gore-Tex brand above both the white midsole and the reflective panel running up the heel. 

A tonal All-Star logo appears on the medial ankle, but that instantly recognizable silhouette is all one needs to identify the basketball-bred street shoe.  

A black colorway gets yellow accents on the heels and outsole, while a whited-out version bears orange accents in the same locations. 

The Carhartt WIP x Converse Chuck 70 Gore-Tex line goes on sale exclusively at Carhartt WIP stores and online on Thursday, February 21 for an undisclosed price.
