Arriving hot on the heels of a lauded Supreme x Nike SB Dunk Low drop, the collab sees the skate-meets-street musings of Supreme join forces with another certified cool kid brand in Fort Worth-based Dickies, another company now en vogue among skaters and streetwear aficionados. And while the rugged-yet-fashionable offering doesn’t boast anything quite as outlandish as the Supreme-branded golf cart from the brand’s Fall/Winter 2025 Collection, there’s a distinct edge to the collection, which leans heavily on iconic Dickies outewear silhouettes in mixed-media fabrication.

First known for its crewneck sweatshirts, hoodies and gym-approved joggers, Reigning Champ has enough variety in its lineup to dress the stylish modern gentleman for an entire day: From an early morning run through to speakeasy cocktails, the new Reigning Champ Fall/Winter 2025 Collection is guided by variety and versatility. For Reigning Champ, the collection represents “an ongoing pursuit of the modern uniform, where rugged sophistication and utility meet in quiet balance.”

Luxe fabrics like cashmere are joined by hearty wool and comfortable stretch cotton knits across a range of pieces, from base-layer henleys to tailored trousers and a robust selection of outerwear. Tailored topcoats add a dash of crisp refinement, while the brand stays true to its roots with a luxurious take on the coach’s jacket and an ornately finished, bold logo rugby polo.

The new Reigning Champ Fall/Winter 2025 Collection is available now online through the brand and at its stores in Vancouver and Toronto, so plan ahead accordingly for the start of shoulder season.

The buzzy Japanese label is already a bold imprint in the fashion world, with embellished and distressed designs in high-end fabrications that have been worn by the likes of Ana de Armas, Travis Scott, Playboi Carti, Megan Fox and Hailey Bieber.

Billboard even reports that since its 1999 founding, the edgy denim brand “has evolved to become one of the most in-demand denim brands in the world, specifically among musicians.” KSUBI even worked with Scott on a collection in 2017, boasting oversized, washed hoodies and distressed denim with a streetwear-inspired look and feel. That trend looks to continue with a slew of eye-catching new pieces in richly crafted fabrications.

The “NEO-NOSTALGIA” KSUBI Fall 2025 Collection features both the utterly classic (like a series of light wash denim trucker jackets) as well as the fashion-forward, namely patchwork jeans featuring varsity letter jacket-esque patchwork repairs.

A vintage-style cable knit sweater and an MA-1 bomber jacket deliver variety and sporty appeal for the in-the-know denim brand.

Of-the-moment barrel jeans, denim jackets and oversized flannel shirts and knitwear complement the collection’s flared jeans and Western aesthetic, while relaxed-fit tees in a deep acid wash (and sleek black colorway) seem destined to become part of Travis Scott’s onstage wardrobe. Meanwhile, the luxe $240 Van Winkle Manhattan Jeans were ripped right out of the turn of the century (and perhaps the onstage wardrobe of The Strokes’ famously fashionable Albert Hammond Jr.).

The collection also splices together varying shades and designs of denim, while boxy leather jackets echo current outerwear trends. Those craving a slimmer fit in their jeans would do well to look into the rock star-esque Chitch Jeans from KSUBI. Carhartt WIP has been a tastemaking distant relative of Carhartt (note that Carhartt isn’t its parent company) since WIP’s 1994 founding by Edwin Faeh. The company’s first store opened in London in 1997, where workwear jackets and trusty canvas and denim pants (this time with a suitably edgy finish for fall) are still very much in vogue among taste-making skaters, models, DJ’s and more.

When it comes to Carhartt WIP’s accessible high-fashion take on the instantly recognizable ‘C’ logo, the brand says it’s important to note the company “engages with different cultural spheres: from Detroit and Berlin’s symbiotic techno scenes, to skateboarding and its communities that span Paris, New York, and Seoul, to the contemporary art world,” the brand said.

Carhartt WIP has also lent its keen eye to retooled silhouettes ranging from a new spin on the Converse Chuck Taylor to the iconoclast look of the Clarks Wallabee in recent years, cementing the brand’s status as a fashionable icon.

If you’re heading anywhere with a scene this fall, consider wearing a piece (or two, or three) from the forthcoming Carhartt WIP fall drop. The details make the difference when it comes to heritage footwear, and that holds true whether one steps into rugged boots or cozy cabin slippers. The two overlap more than perfectly with the new Filson x Birkenstock Collection, a surefire hit made for both chopping wood and cozying up to the resulting fire.

The release follows closely on the heels of a prime shoulder season debut: The iconic Pacific Northwest outfitter just released its exceptional Winter’s Range Collection, a lineup made for combatting the bitter cold. Its latest collaborative release builds on that same DNA, using legendary Mackinaw Wool, heritage leather and hard-wearing materials for day-to-night toughness.

The flagship of the collaboration is arguably the Skyomish Boot, bearing Filson’s covetable and top-of-the-line 1774 designation as a result of using “the highest quality premium materials,” the outfitter said. In the design of those fast-selling boots, a cleated outsole meets waxed cotton Tin Cloth and oiled nubuck leather for exceptional durability. The Filson x Birkenstock Lahti Boots also deliver the best of the best in terms of comfort, support and rugged style points.

Its latest footwear release, in slide or boot form, carries on dedication and utility in rather admirable fashion, including a revamped take on instantly recognizable Birkenstock clogs. As the outfitter notes, the collection represents a “true fusion of both brands’ legacies of supreme quality, storied craftsmanship, and timeless designs.”

The Filson x Birkenstock London Methow boasts a leather upper and a cork rubber outsole, the same found on legendary Birkenstock slides, yet this time with a finish befitting the hearty, rugged Filson 2024 menswear collection.

Described by Filson as “rough-hewn, practical footwear,” the limited-edition offering (which starts at $375), delivers a true test of extreme durability. The trio of boots, the outfitter notes, was “engineered to wander the wilderness of the modern world,” dialing down to “fine craftsmanship, function and an authentic connection to the earth.” If that sounds like an exceptional addition to an autumnal wardrobe (which it does), then step right on up.

Snyder, who lately returned to the runway at New York Fashion Week, debuted as creative director of the premium, new Woolrich Black Label with a January show at menswear haven Pitti Uomo. Now, those coveted styles are hitting shelves, and there’s plenty of rugged luxury to go around.

The 65-piece collection splits into two different lines, each honoring the heritage of Woolrich while incorporating modern flourishes. The Heritage line boasts, for instance, a plaid shirt in the company’s instantly recognizable black-and-red, yet this time it’s done in super-soft Italian cashmere.

The Technical offering, on the other hand, features full-length parkas (among other options) made from advanced material like drip-dyed nylon. Snyder noted the Technical line gave him the chance to focus on “clothing that can handle the demands of the great outdoors and be the statement pieces in a city wardrobe.”

For the award-winning designer, working with Woolrich was a way to tap into his Midwest roots, the Iowa-born creative said. “It felt very fresh to start with outdoor styles and then refresh them in more modern silhouettes and premium fabrics,” Snyder said of the Heritage Collection specifically. “I wore Woolrich as a kid, and so transforming their iconic pieces into styles for the modern adventurer was a dream come true.”

The brand noted that the refined-yet-functional collection is “high-performance enough for serious outdoor use, but refined enough for city dwellers.” The end result isn’t unlike much of the menswear Snyder has released as of late, blending luxe Italian suiting with more casual options, like a new fall denim collection, among other ultra-stylish selections.

There might not be a more fresh yet historically inclined fall and winter menswear collection on the market right now than Todd Snyder’s first for Woolrich, and that alone is worthy of a shoulder season upgrade. Future iterations of Woolrich Black Label now have a high bar to clear.

J. Crew, which made waves this summer with a collection timed to the release of hit TV series The Bear, again appears poised to seize the style moment. And its new collection with the famed Japanese-American brand stylishly and seamlessly blends downtown cool with the great outdoors.

It’s a fitting partnership that puts a new spin on J. Crew’s Americana outlook. The Daiki Suzuki-founded company is celebrating its 25th year, and has teamed up with other all-American favorites like Vans and Sebago in the past.

The new collection takes an approach that toes the line between the worlds of each brand. As Crew notes, the offering focuses on “generous fits, creative pocket placements and signature pieces,” including a collaborative hooded sweater vest that’s “split at the sides for easy layering.” The collaboration’s standout pieces include tasteful pleated pants, Oxford and utility shirting, fleece crewneck sweatshirts and even a rugged, J. Crew-esque denim twill shirt.

The J. Crew team said it worked with Engineered Garments to “push the boundaries on foundational styles we’re known for, resulting in familiar yet unexpected takes on staples like merino wool sweaters, military-inspired chinos, heritage outerwear and more.” And as of today, that fresh take on traditional Northeast style can be yours online at J.
